Premise
The project is specialized in treating and diagnosing the
blood and spinal cord cancer.
The center contains a treatment unit and an operation room
to transplant the spinal cord and it also contains blood
test services and diagnosing blood diseases and the urinary
system and aids.
The designing Idea
Area distribution, operations and space zoning depended on
similar examples and standards. It also depended on the
patient’s requirements. The program was developed on the
basis of the technological progress in treating diseases and
operations of the spinal cord.
The idea resembles the destruction/ death operation from the
organic point of view, and ravening operation in respect to
the hunting operation and in case of need due to Mother
Nature.
The International Style (The practical)
The Iraqi Style → Demolition and then treating.
Since the patient suffering from Blood Cancer is mostly
subject to death ( Ceasing of movement) :
Movement Opposite Calmness was the sparking idea.
So the opposite of calmness was expressed by movement, so
the athletic symbol has been figured as an expression for
the movement that should be provided for the patient during
his treatment period or his last days. To serve the nature
of the project some changes in respect of the form were
made.
